A defect has been identified in the ventilation and air conditioning system of hatchbacks, which will require owners of such vehicles to visit a service center. In these cars, the air duct housing was installed incorrectly: one end is improperly connected to the central tunnel, and the other, as a result, directs a stream of cold air directly at the driver's feet. In addition to the risk of foot hypothermia, there is another unpleasant issue — due to incorrect installation, the air duct creates noticeable noise that can be annoying to passengers' ears. According to the publication, service center specialists will be able to fix this problem on sixth-generation Golf models in about half an hour.
