The new product is called Eila Edition One. It was first shown in the second half of 2020, and now the manufacturer has announced that it is starting deliveries of the camper. Prices start from 950,000 euros.
For this money, buyers are offered, so to speak, a land yacht with luxurious equipment. It is aimed at those who want to travel in reference luxury – especially for wealthy people who need very frequent trips. In terms of form factor, the Eila Edition One is close to buses, but this is only in motion – when the car is parked, it looks more like... a transformer from the future.
The Eila Edition One is equipped with electric motors (not to be confused with the main power unit – the Eila Edition One is driven by a "stock" 530-horsepower fuel engine), which extend additional body sections, thus turning the cargo Mercedes into a hotel with very spacious rooms.
So, a separate room serves as a full-size bedroom with a width of 1.60 meters. In addition, on board there is a living room with a large sofa and plasma TV, a kitchen with an oven, a large shower cabin... The finishing is also presented at a high level: natural wood, tapestries, etc. are used. At the same time, many equipment elements are controlled by remote controls.
In a word, this Mercedes-Benz Actros has almost everything you could wish for in a cozy home.
The Eila Edition One weighs 26 tons.
