The first reason is that for the first time in history, the stages of the Carrera Time Attack racing series took place abroad, namely on May 20-21 at the Transilvania Motor Ring track in Romania, and also on June 26-27 at the Belarusian Olympic Training Center "Stayki" in Minsk. Ukrainians showed very decent results that impressed even international specialists.
"Based on the results of our pilots in Belarus and Romania, they truly deserve to be proud. The teams of these countries were pleasantly surprised: all thanks to the fact that in Ukraine, Carrera Time Attack participants have experience racing on both types of tracks," says the series founder Yuriy Manoylo.
Given the skill and high achievements of Ukrainian pilots, Yuriy intends to obtain a Porsche Cup license for Ukraine in the future – the official Porsche racing series.
By the way, the next stage of Carrera Time Attack International 2021 will take place in Ukraine on September 5. The event will be held in Kyiv at the Chaika automobile sports complex, and the racing series will culminate at the end of the year at the Lтава (Ltava) autodrome in Poltava.
It is worth noting that such competitions gather not only dozens of sports car owners, but also thousands of spectators, because in addition to racing, these events include a display of exclusive Porsche models, a sports car parade, and a variety of show programs for viewers.
To participate in the competition, Porsche owners just need to submit an application, which will allow them to assess their level of skill in "combat" conditions and fully experience the capabilities of their car.
