As focus.de writes, experts from Bähr & Fess analyzed data from financial institutions of organizations operating in the automotive sector, including major banks and leasing companies, and then assessed the absolute and relative purchase value of each car when resold over four years. As a result, they concluded that four years after purchase, a new Kia Ceed 1.0 (100 hp) will "drop" in price by only 8,379 euros and retain 48.5% of its value (with an average mileage of 150,000 km), leaving behind competitors such as Skoda Scala and Volkswagen Golf.

Interestingly, the rating also included two more Kia models - Stonic and Picanto, they entered the top three in their segment. The first took second place in the compact crossover category, the second - 3rd place in the small car class. By 2025, the Kia Stonic 1.2 (84 hp) will lose 7,909 euros and retain 52.5% of the value of a new car, while the Picanto 1.0 (67 hp) will drop by 5,536 euros by 2025 while retaining 48.5% of the value of a new car.
By the way, currently the most liquid car is the Dacia/Renault Sandero – this car on average loses 3,949 euros of its original value over 4 years.
