In 2020, 365,240 Tesla Model 3 units were sold worldwide – 21% more than the year before. That is, the model's share of the global market is 12% (in total, 3,124,793 electric cars and plug-in hybrids were sold worldwide last year).

In second place is the Chinese electric car Wuling HongGuang Mini EV, but three times fewer of these cars were sold than Tesla Model 3 – 119,255. The top three is rounded out by Renault Zoe – 100,431 cars sold.

The 2020 newcomer Tesla Model Y started successfully – the electric crossover has already found 79,734 buyers. Next come Hyundai Kona EV (65,075 units) and another newcomer Volkswagen ID.3 (56,937). The Nissan Leaf, popular in Ukraine, took seventh place with 55,724 cars sold.
