It is noteworthy that the number of registrations of new electric vehicles turned out to be almost four times lower. This statistic indicates that Ukrainians consistently choose cheaper electric cars that have already had previous owners.

On average, the age of such cars reaches about five years, and products from Tesla and Nissan traditionally hold the greatest popularity.

  • Nissan Leaf — 515 cars

  • Tesla Model 3 — 467 cars

  • Kia Niro EV — 322 cars

  • Hyundai Kona Electric — 265 cars

  • Chevrolet Bolt — 218 cars

  • Volkswagen e-Golf — 211 cars

  • Renault Zoe — 204 cars

  • Tesla Model S — 180 cars

  • Audi e-tron Sportback — 131 cars

During January–May 2025, more than 20.6 thousand electric vehicles purchased on the secondary market were registered for the first time in the country. This is a third more than in the same period a year earlier.
