The first thirty gas stations will start operating in the capital and the region as early as next month — in September. The remaining facilities will be put into operation as legal formalities with the National Agency for the Detection, Search, and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) are completed.
Back in May of this year, the Ukrainian government decided to hand over to the management of the company "Naftogaz Oil Trading" property that had been seized within criminal proceedings. This concerns the assets of LLC "GLUSCO UKRAINE" and LLC "GLUSCO RETAIL." This decision was made to avoid a potential crisis in the energy sector — in particular, to prevent shortages of gasoline and diesel fuel.
In total, the operator was transferred 172 facilities. These include 126 stations, as well as unfinished structures, land plots, and other property in various parts of the country, including temporarily occupied territories and areas where hostilities are ongoing.
