According to Kudin, it can now be confidently stated that the fuel shortage problem observed at the beginning of the summer period has already been resolved. Today, the state has sufficient reserves of gasoline and diesel.

He noted that the increase in supply volumes on the market contributes to a decrease in cost. In addition, the drop in oil prices also affects this process. The ministry representative expressed hope that concerns about a possible rise in fuel prices due to the restoration of the excise tax will not come true.

“We do not forecast an increase in fuel prices as a result of this step,” he emphasized.
