This was reported by the association "Ukrautoprom", which unites domestic car manufacturers.
It is noted that among these cars, 10% are vehicles no older than five years, 15% are vehicles aged six to ten years, and the remaining 75% are passenger cars produced more than ten years ago.
At the same time, the largest number of re-registrations of used cars that received Ukrainian license plates in July was recorded in the Lviv region — 14% of all such transactions were processed there.
"In Volyn, 11% of cars were registered. The third place was taken by the Rivne region — 8% of registrations of cleared used passenger cars", — the statement says.
The association also reported that during July, drivers most often registered the following imported used models:
·VOLKSWAGEN Passat – 2.8 thousand cars;
·VOLKSWAGEN Golf – 2.7 thousand cars;
·RENAULT Megane – 2.2 thousand cars;
·SKODA Octavia – 1.7 thousand cars;
·FORD Focus – 1.3 thousand cars.
"In total, since the beginning of the year, 310.2 thousand used cars have been transferred to Ukrainian registration, which is almost a quarter more than the figure for the same period last year", — the association summarized.
