They will stop vehicles of traffic violators and consider cases of administrative offenses. This is reported by the press service of the patrol police.
"Friends, tomorrow morning at 08:00 the "Phantom" (PHANTOM) vehicles will go out for full-fledged patrolling," the statement says.

The police said that the new vehicles are equipped with speed control systems for moving vehicles, which allow measuring speed both while the "Phantom" itself is moving and when the "Phantom" is stationary in a certain place. After recording a violation, license plates are read and recognized, followed by a check in databases.
After that, metadata with relevant information is sent to the automatic recording system, where resolutions on administrative offenses are already generated.

The police noted that recording of traffic violations will not be done automatically; it will be carried out by a special vehicle using two video cameras with which the vehicle is equipped. They have the ability to record traffic violations that occur in front of and behind the service vehicle.
In addition, inspectors patrol in the "Phantom" who will stop vehicles of violators and consider cases of administrative offenses.
It is noted that currently the "phantom" patrols will be Skoda Kodiaq vehicles without police identification marks. However, in the future, the makes and models of the vehicles will not be openly disclosed, because this contradicts the concept of using such systems.
