The Ministry of Economy presented data on the average cost of gasoline and diesel fuel for calculating maximum prices at gas stations at the end of January. According to the published information, the average price of gasoline is set at 29.25 hryvnias per liter, and diesel fuel at 26.84 hryvnias per liter.
From these indicators, the maximum allowable cost of fuel at gas stations is calculated. In particular, the new estimated prices suggest that a liter of gasoline will cost 29.25 hryvnias, which is 1.33 hryvnias more than the current price of 27.92 hryvnias. Diesel fuel will rise to 26.84 hryvnias per liter, which exceeds today's figure of 25.16 hryvnias by 1.68 hryvnias.
Taking into account the maximum trade margins established for retail sales, prices at gas stations should not exceed the following values:
- 34.25 hryvnias per liter of gasoline;
- 33.84 hryvnias per liter of diesel fuel.
