According to the Novyny.LIVE portal, by nine in the morning 40% of carriers had already refused to work, which is why a significant number of passengers were unable to travel to other cities of Ukraine.
Under the rules that came into force, drivers now need to require passengers to either have COVID certificates confirming vaccination or PCR tests valid for no more than 72 hours.
"People could not leave for Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson and a number of other destinations. Drivers simply refused to go on routes," said Maksym Skliarenko, director of the company Ukrpas.
