In total, more than 1,600 cars that were written off to "retirement" more than 10 years ago are put up for sale. The estimated value of the entire fleet is almost 11 million hryvnias.
The oldest lot of the auction turned out to be a ZIL-130 MMZ 555 truck from 1968. The list also includes many other Soviet vehicles of brands: VAZ, GAZ, KAMAZ, LAZ and UAZ. Although most of the examples are in a deplorable condition.
Car collectors may be interested in passenger cars of German brands – Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. These are mainly models from the 80s-90s.
Auctions will be held online on the internet platform "ProZorro. Sales". The funds raised from the bidding will be used for the repair of post offices, updating infrastructure and equipment.
