The company Lorinser is known primarily as a tuning studio that specializes mainly in Mercedes-Benz models, but this firm is also an official dealer of this brand. It unexpectedly turned out that several Lada Niva Legend SUVs are put up for sale in one of the Lorinser car dealerships.
Official sales of all Lada models in Germany were discontinued in 2020. Moreover, the 1.7 petrol engine on the Niva meets Euro-5 emission standards, while on the German market since 2015 it has been allowed to sell new cars with emission levels not exceeding Euro-6 standards.
How did Nivas of 2021 model year with prices from 15,900 to 16,900 euros end up in the dealership? The media offer various explanations for this situation. For example, a "gray" scheme is used, without direct purchase from the manufacturer, but through private companies, and subsequent registration in Germany not as a new, but as a used car.
