Yes, as stated on the website of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, thanks to Diia, it will be possible to submit the necessary package of documents online (including the customs declaration), make customs payments (within 10 days), and complete customs clearance of the vehicle.
For now, however, the project will operate in test mode and is available only for the most common category of vehicles – passenger cars, motorcycles, and scooters (8703).
The ministry notes that the innovation will help “significantly reduce corruption risks during customs clearance of cars” and eliminate human involvement from this process as much as possible.

At the same time, another feature has appeared in Diia. Now visitors to MIA service centers can use the electronic passport in the corresponding mobile app when ordering and receiving services. To do this, you need to share (with the center) a copy of the e-passport (ID card). The step-by-step instructions are as follows:
- open the passport in the Diia app;
- tap on it and select the barcode;
- provide the barcode or dictate the 13-digit code located under the barcode to the service center administrator;
- confirm the request to transfer data.
It is noted that the copy will not need to be signed, as it will already be backed by Diia's electronic digital signature (EDS).
By the way, as of today, Diia provides access to 11 digital documents and 12 services. These include a driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, vehicle insurance policy, ID card, identification code, biometric foreign passport, student ID, birth certificate, internally displaced person certificate, as well as COVID-19 vaccination certificates. In total, over 70 government services are available in the Diia system (including the portal).
