Yes, in the first half of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, gasoline prices in Ukraine increased by 13.7%. By this indicator, our country took fifth place. Only Hungary (20.2%), Turkey (19.4%), Luxembourg (16.9%), and Croatia (14.9%) are higher than Ukraine.
As for those countries where fuel fell, these are Malta and Croatia. The decrease was -4.8% and 5.4%, respectively.

There is also separate statistics on the prices themselves. So, in the first half of the year, the average fuel price in Ukraine was $1.02 (4th position among 42 countries). The most expensive gasoline is in Norway – $2.07, and the cheapest in Russia – $0.65.
Finally, analysts also determined the gasoline index. With an average salary (UAH 10,902) in Ukraine, you can buy 389 liters of gasoline – this is the worst indicator in Europe. Also in the top three outsiders are Albania (289 l) and Moldova (358 l). But the most fuel can be bought with an average salary in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Denmark – 3582 l, 2955 l, and 2328 l, respectively.
