The government reported that the marginal trade markup set on fuel does not apply to its premium grades. The Cabinet of Ministers decided to regulate only the prices of regular types of gasoline and diesel.

Recall that premium fuel began to disappear from gas stations of several large chains on May 15. Thus, companies reacted to the introduction the day before by the Ministry of Economy of a maximum trade markup on prices during the quarantine. For gasoline it is 7 hryvnias per liter, for diesel – 5 hryvnias.
Companies explained their decision by the fact that under such conditions, trading in expensive types of gasoline and diesel becomes unprofitable.
