The "Urban Public Transport of Ukraine" project is being implemented jointly with the European Investment Bank. In the coming years, new transport will be purchased for 20 major Ukrainian cities.

In total, for 2021, the purchase of over 500 units of public transport is planned for 11 cities:
- 100 buses, 20 trams, and one funicular cabin for Kyiv;
- 100 buses and 10 trams for Lviv;
- 49 trolleybuses and 35 metro cars for Kharkiv;
- 26 electric buses and 20 buses for Zaporizhzhia;
- 40 buses for Mykolaiv;
- 40 trolleybuses for Chernihiv;
- 29 trolleybuses for Lutsk;
- 19 trolleybuses for Sumy;
- 14 trams for Odesa;
- 10 buses for Ternopil;
- 9 duobuses (trolleybuses with auxiliary diesel) for Ivano-Frankivsk.
Also, the second phase of the "Urban Public Transport of Ukraine" project is starting in parallel. Within its framework, only eco-transport will be purchased – trams, trolleybuses, electric buses, and metro cars.
