The photos of the car were published on the page of the KIA Zaporozhye GRAD-AVTO dealership. They show the Rio Sedan in white. It is quite difficult to examine the quality of the Ukrainian assembly of the Korean car in detail, since the car is shot from a long shot, but at least its gaps are even. However, do not forget that ZAZ does not organize full-fledged production of passenger cars, but large-unit (so-called SKD) assembly, which AutoPortal previously reported in this material.
Note that Kia Rio Sedan is a budget car (B-segment) sold in selected markets (besides Ukraine – in Russia, Belarus, some Asian and Latin American countries). In our market, the car is offered with 1.4- and 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engines producing 100 and 123 hp, respectively. Drive – front, transmission – manual or automatic (at the buyer's choice). Also, the sedan has a fairly high ground clearance of 160 mm.
You can buy Kia Rio Sedan at a price starting from UAH 436.6 thousand (USD 15.6 thousand). For this money, a car in the base trim with the younger engine and manual transmission is offered. But the top version – with the older unit, automatic transmission and rich equipment – will cost UAH 515 thousand (USD 18.4 thousand).
In addition to the Rio Sedan, ZAZ also produces the Rio X crossover. This model costs from UAH 461 thousand (USD 16.5 thousand).
