The cargo version of the Kia KLTV Light Tactical Cargo Truck debuted first. Soon the range of variants will be expanded, and armored modifications with mounts for various types of weapons on the roof are also promised.
The Korean Hummer received a tire inflation system, and the cabin even has air conditioning. The SUV can carry up to 10 people or up to three tons of cargo.
The Kia KLTV is based on a sturdy steel frame. The three-liter turbodiesel and 8-speed automatic transmission were borrowed from the Kia Mohave, but the engine was detuned to 225 hp. Naturally, all-wheel drive is complemented by a low-range gear and differential locks.
By the way, at IDEX-2021, a Ukrainian development was also presented – a hybrid floating tank with 2500 hp.
