A modern service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was built in the Sviatoshyn district at 20 Peremohy Street (not to be confused with Peremohy Avenue). It will replace the similar institution at 20 Tupoleva Street, which has already become legendary.

The fact is that the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (formerly MREO) on Tupoleva Street has been operating for almost 80 years – the first car was registered there back in 1943, immediately after the liberation of Kyiv from the Nazis.

The new building is modern and much more comfortable. It is built according to the open space principle. The institution provides the following services:

  • registration, re-registration, and deregistration of vehicles;
  • issuance and exchange of driver's licenses;
  • issuance of certificates of no criminal record and extracts from the Unified State Register.

In addition, the premises include an interactive children's corner and a bookshelf for bookcrossing. The service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs operates from Tuesday to Saturday.
