In February, only Eurocar again presented statistics on passenger car production – the enterprise assembled 146 vehicles. In annual comparison, this figure fell by 39 percent.
Commercial vehicles were produced in the amount of only two units – this was done by Cherkasy Bus. Compared to last year, the result decreased by 60%. At the same time, the report again lacks data from KrAZ: since August 2016, the plant has stopped publishing information on its production volumes.
Bus production in February increased by six units and reached 77 units. The leader was Cherkasy Bus – 30 vehicles, Chernihiv Automobile Plant produced 20, Chasiv Yar Buses finished the month with an indicator of 12, Bohdan announced ten, and ZAZ assembled five.
In total, over the first two months of the current year, Ukrainian plants produced 1,077 vehicles, which is approximately 11% less than in the same period last year.
Passenger cars – 933 units (minus 13%);
Commercial – 10 units (unchanged);
Buses – 134 units (plus 2%).
