At the same time, the volume of purchases of new passenger cars increased by 28%, reaching 95.6 thousand units, while imports of used cars from abroad grew 2.9 times compared to last year, amounting to 448.4 thousand units.
The largest exporter of new cars in 2019 was Japan. From this Asian country, 19.4 thousand new cars were delivered to Ukraine for a total of 469.3 million dollars.
As for used cars, Germany became the leader in revenue: Ukrainians imported 118.6 thousand used passenger cars from Germany, spending more than 535.9 million dollars on them.
