In total, 5,789 passenger and 458 commercial electric vehicles were registered. Compared to the same period last year, interest in passenger electric cars grew by 37%, and in commercial ones it almost doubled.
The commercial electric transport sector still relies mainly on imported used cars, which accounted for 96% of all registrations. The bulk of deals in this segment were for two models: RENAULT Kangoo Z.E. — 420 units (403 used and 17 new) and NISSAN e-NV200 — 21 units (20 used and one new).
Among passenger electric vehicles, used cars also prevailed. Of the 5,789 cars registered since the beginning of the year, only 498 were new.
The leader of the Ukrainian electric car market remains NISSAN Leaf. Over January–October, the country's fleet was replenished with 2,763 such cars.
The second place is occupied by TESLA Model S — it was chosen by 489 owners.
The top five most sought-after zero-emission cars also included: BMW i3 — 297 units, VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf — 279 units, and FIAT 500e — 253 units.
