The more powerful versions are not fully revealed: the rear of the sports cars is hidden by light camouflage film, and there are no images of the interior or technical specifications.

Almost a year has passed since the debut of the eighth-generation Porsche 911, and the Stuttgart automaker has decided to stir up consumer interest in the release of the top "civilian" modifications Turbo and Turbo S. Three pre-production prototypes of the 992 Turbo with two body types were "spotted" during tests in Nice, France. Porsche test driver Jörg Bergmeister poses near the 992 Turbo cabriolet for the press service.
It is likely that the appearance of the production 992 Turbo will differ somewhat from the prototypes: the sports car will get a differently styled exhaust system, original bumpers, spoiler, front splitter, and diffuser. Also, the Turbo versions will differ from the Carrera lineup with wheels featuring a "racing" single-nut mounting and more efficient carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers.

It is expected that the 992 in the Turbo version will be equipped with a 3.8-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo engine with over 600 horsepower, an 8-speed robotic transmission, and all-wheel drive. For the Turbo S version, output is predicted at 650 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, but these characteristics are not confirmed.
Porsche promises to present the 992 Turbo next spring. It is likely that within six months before the premiere of the Turbo versions, the lineup of the "nine-elevens" will be supplemented with other modifications: the Targa version and the new 911 GTS family are next in line.
