The bulk of this volume came from used cars imported from abroad: in May, about 24 thousand such vehicles went through the customs clearance and registration procedure.
The leader among imported used cars last month was Volkswagen — this brand accounted for 16% of all primary registrations of used passenger cars. In May, 3912 such cars received Ukrainian license plates.
The second position was taken by Skoda: during the month, 2122 used cars of this brand were registered in Ukraine.
The third place went to Renault — 2063 cars.
The fourth result was shown by Opel, which was chosen by 1889 Ukrainian buyers.
Closing the top five of May is Ford — 1730 cars of this brand swapped foreign plates for Ukrainian ones.
Overall, since the beginning of the year, 230.9 thousand used passenger cars have undergone primary registration in Ukraine, which is 601% more than in the same period last year.
