The ground clearance of the new model with standard settings is 139 mm — this is 45 mm more than that of the regular A6 Avant wagon. The basic equipment includes adaptive air suspension with special settings, which changes the clearance depending on the road surface and also based on the driving speed. The maximum clearance figure is 184 millimeters.

In addition, the wagon is equipped with a body roll control system and a hill descent assist function, which automatically limits the speed in the range from 20 to 30 km/h and can brake selectively with all or one of the four wheels for a safe descent.
The engine lineup includes three three-liter V6 diesels with different levels of boost. The base engine develops 231 horsepower and 500 Nm, while the "middle" unit produces 286 hp and 620 Newton-meters. Finally, the top engine develops 349 horsepower and 720 Newton-meters.

All power units operating on the "mild hybrid" scheme based on a 48-volt on-board system are combined with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
European sales of the new generation all-road wagon Audi A6 Allroad will start in June 2019. Prices start from 61.5 thousand euros.
