As Ukrautoprom reports, compared to April of last year, Ukrainians' interest in electric cars rose by 67%. At the same time, the growth in registrations of passenger and commercial electric models was almost identical: 67.2% and 66.7%, respectively.
The main source of replenishing the domestic fleet of electric vehicles remains imported used vehicles. In April, imported used cars accounted for 91% of registrations, while a year earlier this figure was 82%.
The most popular models with zero harmful emissions last month were: NISSAN Leaf — 251 units (of which 246 were used); TESLA Model S — 49 units (48 used); RENAULT Kangoo — 38 vehicles (37 used); RENAULT Zoe — 28 cars (26 used); JAGUAR I-Pace — 24 units (all new).
In the first four months of this year, 1,914 electric vehicles passed Ukrainian registration, which is 73% more than in the same period last year.
