The passenger car segment of the domestic automotive industry ended the month with a decline of more than a third compared to March 2018 – 442 units. All statistics on passenger cars, as before, were provided exclusively by large-knockdown assembly at the Transcarpathian plant 'Eurocar'.
Truck production in March (excluding AutoKrAZ, which has stopped publishing data on its production since August 2016) amounted to only 4 units – this is 7 times less than in the same period last year.
At the same time, bus production increased by 42%, reaching 88 units.
In the first three months of the year, a total of 1,741 vehicles were produced in Ukraine, which is 15.6% less than the first quarter of the previous year.
Passenger cars – 1,508 units (-14.7%);
Commercial vehicles – 14 units (-85.3%);
Buses – 219 units (+9%).
