The exterior of the Mercedes-AMG CLA35 4Matic differs from the standard model with a branded radiator grille with a "double blade," a redesigned diffuser, a different configuration of exhaust tips, the presence of a spoiler, and exclusive wheel rims with a diameter of 18 or 19 inches.
Inside, there are sports seats with red stitching, a steering wheel with a flattened lower rim, and black decorative panels.
Under the hood of the sedan is the same unit as in the hot hatch A-Class. The four-door version received a two-liter turbo engine with 306 horsepower and a torque of 400 N·m. The engine is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches and all-wheel drive. In normal mode, power goes to the front axle, but if necessary, the system can redistribute traction between the axles in equal proportion.
Acceleration to 100 km/h for the Mercedes-AMG CLA35 4Matic takes 4.9 seconds — 0.2 seconds more than the five-door Mercedes-AMG A35. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
