In September of this year, residents of Ukraine became owners of 6.8 thousand new passenger cars, as well as 10.2 thousand used cars imported from abroad.
Thus, the share of used cars in the primary market was 60%, and their number increased 1.9 times compared to September 2017.
The top five brands in this segment remained unchanged compared to the previous month, as did their positions in the ranking.
Volkswagen maintains its leadership among imported used cars. Over the past month, 1,538 such cars of the German brand were registered.
The second position is held by Renault — 1,383 used vehicles.
Third place goes to Škoda: 1,008 cars that have already been in operation.
Ford retained the fourth spot — 690 buyers preferred this brand.
Nissan closes the top five, with a result of 579 cars per month.
Over the entire year, 72 thousand passenger cars previously used in other countries switched to Ukrainian plates, which is 87% higher than the figures for the same period last year.
The most sought-after used model both for September and for the nine months remains the Renault Megane. In the last month, 976 people chose it, and since the beginning of the year — 7,428.
