In May, the leader of the Ukrainian car market was the Audi A3, which found itself at the center of "dieselgate." During the month, 264 Ukrainians purchased this model, which was discontinued abroad.
The second position was taken by the Renault Duster with 250 issued registration numbers.
The third place in the ranking went to another model of the French concern Renault — the Logan, which was chosen by 221 buyers.
The fourth spot was occupied by the Toyota RAV-4, with 216 cars sold.
The fifth was the Hyundai Tucson, which was the choice of 212 people.
The top ten most sought-after new passenger cars in May also included:
- Toyota Camry — 202 units;
- Volkswagen Polo — 177 units;
- KIA Sportage — 169 units;
- Skoda Octavia — 162 units;
- Nissan Qashqai — 149 units.
