The dynamics of passenger cars in the domestic automotive industry is still set exclusively by the large-knockdown assembly of Skoda models. In April, the production volumes of these cars decreased by ten percent compared to March — only 615 cars assembled from Skoda car kits came off the assembly line.
Bus production for the month fell by 13%, reaching 54 units. Of these, three vehicles were assembled by ZAZ, one bus each was produced by the Bogdan Corporation and the Chernihiv automobile plant, which is part of the Etalon Corporation. The Chasovoyarsk Buses plant produced 14 units, and Cherkassky Bus — 35.
Commercial vehicles in April were represented by only six units: one vehicle came off the line at ZAZ, and five more at the facilities of Cherkassky Bus. This result was 79% lower than in March. At the same time, the summary again lacks data from KrAZ — the enterprise, starting from August 2016, for unknown reasons, stopped publishing information about its production volumes.
