Externally, the BMW M5 Competition differs from the "regular" M model by the black finish of the radiator grille, diffuser, and exhaust tips. In addition, the new version features original 20-inch wheels and a special matte body color.
The interior boasts sport seats and aluminum trim that mimics carbon fiber.
The power of the standard 600-horsepower V8 has been increased to 625 hp, but the maximum torque remains unchanged (750 Nm). The improved performance has reduced the acceleration time to 100 km/h from 3.4 to 3.3 seconds.
In addition to the engine, the suspension was also refined, making it stiffer, and the ground clearance was reduced to 128 mm (-7 mm).
