In November, the number of first registrations of used cars exceeded the figure for the same month last year by 83 percent.
The leaders in the number of issued Ukrainian license plates were Volkswagen and Renault — both brands showed an identical result of 1,058 used cars. Used Volkswagens grew by 56% compared to last year's level and accounted for 64% of all registrations of this brand for the month. Renault's growth was 58% compared to the same period, and the share of used cars reached 59% of total sales. Third place remained with Skoda with 742 units — almost twice as many as a year ago, and 55% of the Czech brand's registrations. Opel retained fourth position with 474 used cars (+37% compared to last year), which corresponds to 97% of all first registrations of the brand in November. Ford rounded out the top five, exceeding last year's result by 2.5 times and providing half of all brand registrations for the month.
Since the beginning of the year, 50,309 imported used passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine. This is 3.8 times more than in the first eleven months of 2016.
