High ground clearance, a ladder-frame chassis, a rigid rear differential lock, and a true all-wheel drive system are the recipe for confident off-road behavior. Combined with modern equipment and quality trim materials, this vehicle becomes a reliable working partner.

The updated UAZ Pickup successfully combines the features of a spacious family car, a serious off-roader, and a commercial vehicle.

The cabin has five seats. The cargo area impresses with its volume: up to the top edge of the side, it holds 1,181 liters, and with a camper shell installed, all 2,243 liters. The width of the body between the sides is 1,500 mm (between the wheel arches — 1,265 mm), and the length is 1,375 mm. The payload capacity reaches 725 kg, making the vehicle suitable for both business and outdoor trips. The sturdy frame withstands serious loads even in the harshest conditions. The all-wheel drive is engaged rigidly via the Dymos transfer case, and the electronic rear differential lock adds confidence on slippery or loose surfaces.

The UAZ Patriot Pickup has received a modern set of systems that significantly increase the level of passive and active safety:

Front airbags for the driver and front passenger are included in the standard equipment of all versions.

The front seat belts are equipped with pretensioners, load limiters, and new height-adjustable anchors.

In the second row, three-point seat belts, L-shaped headrests, and ISOFIX child seat anchors are retained.

The body structure has also been refined to improve passive safety: the longitudinal floor frame elements have been reinforced, additional body-to-frame mounting brackets have been added, the front pillar has been strengthened, and the steering column has become energy-absorbing and collapsible.

Active safety is based on the ESP system, which works in conjunction with ABS and EBD. The electronic stability control was developed together with the German company Robert Bosch.

The traction control system (TCS) regulates torque and brake operation, preventing wheel spin on the drive wheels. When braking in a corner, the CBC system distributes braking forces across the wheels. The hydraulic brake assist (HBA) helps during sudden pedal application. The hill start assist (HHC) holds the vehicle on an incline for up to two seconds, preventing it from rolling backward. For off-road use, a separate Off-Road mode is provided, activated by a button on the center console, which optimizes braking on loose surfaces.

Parking has become easier thanks to a rearview camera and parking sensors. Moreover, sensors have also appeared at the front, which can be turned off with a separate button on the center tunnel.

Inside, there is a new instrument panel with a multifunctional steering wheel, which is now adjustable for both rake and reach. The steering wheel has buttons for controlling main functions, including cruise control and a speed limiter — they are located on the left side.

Considerable work has been done to improve sound insulation to reduce noise and vibrations.

The vehicle is well prepared for winter: it has heated front seats, rear window, and mirrors, a programmable pre-heater, heated entire windshield area, and warm rear seats — a rare advantage in the commercial SUV class. In the updated version, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel has been added.

The cabin climate is regulated by a single-zone system with a new control unit. For rear passengers, a separate heater with its own fan and adjustable deflectors is provided.

In the center of the front panel, there is a multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen display that plays Full HD video, supports AM/FM/MP3 and Bluetooth, has USB/AUX/SD ports, six speakers, a compass, and Navitel navigation.*

Under the hood is a ZMZ 40906 gasoline engine with a displacement of 2.7 liters and a power of 134.6 hp, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine delivers good torque already at low revs.

As part of the winter promotion, the vehicle could be purchased at a price starting from UAH 437,000 — the savings reached UAH 88,000, which was 16% of the cost.**
