Between January and October 2017, residents of Kyiv became owners of 20,584 new passenger cars. This is 30% more than in the same period a year earlier, indicating a noticeable increase in purchasing activity in the capital.

The sales leader in the Kyiv market for ten months of 2017 was the Skoda Octavia model — it was chosen by 872 car enthusiasts.

Right behind it was the Renault Logan, which sold 861 units.

The third place was taken by the KIA Sportage, which tops the nationwide ranking — in the capital it was purchased 688 times.

In fourth position was the Toyota RAV-4 with a result of 581 cars sold.

The top five is completed by the Volkswagen Polo, which received 545 registrations.

In addition, the top ten most popular cars in Kyiv included: Renault Duster — 542 units, Toyota Corolla — 498 units, Skoda Rapid — 472 units, Ford Fiesta — 458 units, and Toyota Camry — 413 units.
