In particular, at Avantazh, gas fell by 40 kopecks/l to 12.95 UAH/t, UPG in Kyiv sells gas at 12.80 UAH/l. The average price across the country from September 20 to 21 dropped by 10 kopecks/l to 14.34 UAH/l.

Most operators – AMIC, Shell, OKKO, WOG, Avtotrans, Ovis – lowered prices within 3-15 kopecks/l. Gas became cheaper by 20-25 kopecks/l at KLO, SOCAR, and Paraleli.

The day before, at the Ukrgazvydobuvannia auction, LPG fell to 17,540 UAH/t. The price drop at the auction was caused by a powerful surplus of the resource that formed on the market in mid-September. "The bases are full. Prices sometimes fall faster than they grew in August," a trading participant noted in a conversation with enkorr.

Recall that Ukrainian autogas prices in August 2017 set an absolute record in the entire history of observations. In just a month, the alternative to gasoline – liquefied gas – rose by one and a half times at gas stations, and wholesale prices doubled.

Since the beginning of September, the average retail price of autogas has dropped by 11% (by 1.7 UAH/l).
