The main share of this import was formed by passenger cars — 8.5 thousand units were brought in. Importers spent 113.8 million dollars on purchasing such a number of cars.
Compared to February of last year, the volume of passenger car imports in unit terms increased by 1.5 times. At the same time, the average customs value of one imported car decreased by 2.4 thousand dollars, reaching 13.4 thousand dollars.
In parallel, imports of commercial vehicles grew by 26%, reaching 3,270 units, and their total value was determined by customs authorities at 55.8 million dollars. Here, unlike the passenger car segment, the average customs price of one vehicle increased — from 12 thousand to 17 thousand dollars.
At the same time, February supplies of buses showed a decline. During this month, 53 buses were brought into the country, which is 20 fewer than in the same period last year. However, if then the average cost of one imported bus was only 16 thousand dollars, now it has grown to 24.4 thousand dollars.
