On Wednesday, March 15, the first batch of fuel of about 800 tons arrived at the port of Izmail (Odesa region). In March, it is planned to clear a total of 1.9 thousand tons of this resource through customs.

As stated in the quality certificate, the gasoline was produced at the MOL Szazhalombatta Refinery, located in the suburbs of Budapest, and meets the requirements of the Euro-5 standard.

The head of the company, Roman Rumyantsev, noted that this shipment is carried out in accordance with a long-term agreement on the supply of Hungarian fuel to the Ukrainian market. “The contract provides for monthly deliveries of up to 2 thousand tons of A-95 gasoline during the river navigation period. Fuel sales will be organized at the ports of Izmail, Kiliia, Kherson, and Dnipro,” explained Rumyantsev.

The fuel will be sold in small wholesale batches. As of March 15, the price is set at UAH 21.50 per liter.

Delivery of fuel to the ports of the Ukrainian Danube region is usually carried out by sea. Over the past five years, deliveries of European fuel to Ukraine by river transport have been recorded only in isolated cases.
