Volkswagen has added an additional sport package, Performance, to its most "charged" hatchback, the Golf R.
Visually, the Golf R Performance stands out thanks to its refined aerodynamic body kit, which helped increase downforce.
The hot hatch also gained adaptive suspension with ride height adjustment, upgraded brake mechanisms, and a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic.
The power of the turbocharged engine remains the same — 310 horsepower, so acceleration dynamics haven't changed (4.6 seconds to 100 km/h), but the electronic speed limiter has been raised from 250 to 267 km/h.
