On road sections within the border strip and controlled border area, at the request of an authorized person of the State Border Guard Service, the driver must stop in compliance with the requirements of these Rules, and also:
- present for inspection the documents specified in subparagraph "b" of paragraph 2.1;
- allow inspection of the vehicle and verification of its unit numbers.
In addition, sign 3.21 "Entry prohibited" has been supplemented with requirements to prevent entry onto roads that directly extend within the border strip to the state border and do not provide passage through established checkpoints across the state border (except for agricultural machinery, other vehicles and mechanisms involved in production in accordance with legislation and in the presence of appropriate legal grounds for agricultural activities or other works, elimination of emergencies and their consequences, as well as vehicles of the Armed Forces, National Guard, SBU, State Border Guard Service, State Migration Service, State Fiscal Service, operational-rescue service of civil protection, National Police and prosecutor's offices when performing operational and service tasks).
