According to reports in the British press, the Volkswagen concern has discontinued the CC model, which was a 'coupe-like' version of the Passat sedan.
The production halt is explained by weak buyer interest, but they are not going to completely say goodbye to the CC model in Germany. Next year, the premiere of the next generation is expected, which will be built on the platform of the "Passat" B8.
As reported, the car will get a different name and will acquire a hybrid modification. Details about the new product are still kept secret.
