Earlier, the domestic prototype of the electric car was presented in Monte Carlo. The development is authored by the Ukrainian company Electric Marathon International, which created the Synchronous electric car for the tourism industry.
The car can carry 6 people and, importantly, accommodate them with maximum comfort. The model is aimed at urban use with speeds up to 60-70 km/h. It is expected that the electric car could become a shuttle for hotel transfers, taxis in excursion zones, etc.
As stated by the CEO of Electric Marathon International, Andriy Bilyi, the issue of serial production of the Ukrainian electric car is currently being discussed, and production will be organized abroad, but where exactly is still unknown.
The car is equipped with a Ukrainian engine, and battery packs are imported from China. The electric car is driven by an asynchronous motor "Slavyanka" on the front axle, which receives energy from a lithium-ion battery. The wheel rims are 19-inch, and the car is also equipped with a rear-view camera, air conditioning, and a multimedia system with color displays. The estimated range is from 130 to 160 kilometers.
The prototype will take part in the annual trans-European electric car rally - "Electric Marathon 2016 Lviv - Monte Carlo", which starts on May 22. As part of it, the Synchronous will be shown in 10 European countries and 23 cities.
