According to the expert, Ukrainian drivers should expect another increase in fuel prices, which is linked to the projected rise in oil prices and fluctuations in the national currency exchange rate. The head of the institute suggests that soon the price of A-95 gasoline could increase by up to 10%.

An additional contributing factor will be the increase in excise duty, scheduled from the first day of spring.

“Unfortunately, these circumstances give reason to expect a slow but steady rise in fuel prices. If oil continues to increase in price, then gasoline will follow suit. I believe that within one to two months, conditions will be in place for price increases ranging from 5 to 10%,” Marunich noted.
