The new model is equipped with a special fuel tank where gaseous hydrogen is stored under high pressure. Without recharging, the car can travel up to 750 km, and refilling the "fuel" supply takes only three minutes.
Moreover, the Honda Clarity Fuel Cell can serve as a generator. In particular, for the hydrogen model, the Japanese offer a portable external power output device that allows using the power unit as an electricity supplier for household needs.
In the first year of the model's sales, Honda will focus on corporate sales and will collect data and feedback on the car's operation. By the end of 2016, the Clarity Fuel Cell will go on sale in Europe and the USA.
