"By the decision of the head of the regional state administration, the Odesa-Kyiv highway is temporarily closed for traffic in both directions," the head of the region stated on his Facebook page. Since morning, Odesa has begun clearing snow from main highways, overpasses, descents, and ascents.
Snow removal is carried out by columns of special equipment of 6-8 units accompanied by police vehicles. In addition, Mikheil Saakashvili reported the situation to the President of Ukraine, who ordered the head of "Ukravtodor" to be sent to Odesa and additional snow removal equipment to be mobilized.
