Many people are interested in how much money (ours, by the way) the state spent on creating this service?

The request about the cost of creating the patrol service was sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs by the editorial board of Radio Liberty. After receiving a response from the ministry, the editorial board published it.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the training and preparation of the police patrol service cost the state budget of Ukraine 61,062,800 thousand hryvnias. These are costs as of July 1, 2015.

But it is worth noting that not all the money was allocated exclusively by Ukraine. Earlier, it was repeatedly reported that the reform of the law enforcement system became possible largely thanks to the financial and organizational support of foreign partners. Funds for uniforms and equipment were allocated by the United States, and patrol cars Toyota Prius were handed over by the Japanese government as part of the exchange of environmental quotas under the Kyoto Protocol.
