The car is called Talisman. The public presentation of the new model is scheduled for September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The car is built on the CFM platform, which also underpins the new-generation Espace minivan, as well as the Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail and Renault Kadjar crossovers.
Some technical details of the Talisman are known: the sedan's overall length is 4.85 meters, width – 1.87 meters, height – 1.46 meters, and the wheelbase reaches 2.81 meters. That is, the car is 16 centimeters longer and six centimeters wider than the Laguna. The Talisman's trunk has a useful volume of 608 liters.
The Talisman's engine range includes two petrol engines with a displacement of 1.6 liters and a power of 150 or 200 horsepower. They are paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox. The diesel engines of the Talisman can have a displacement of 1.5 liters or 1.6 liters. The power is 110 hp for the first and 130 hp or 160 hp for the second. The 1.5-liter engine can have a manual gearbox, the rest - only robotic.
