Using funds from business entities, three Tesla Model Y were purchased for police department No. 3. The electric vehicles were handed over to patrol police response groups and the investigative-operational group, which respond to citizens' reports.

The police expect a reduction in fuel and operating costs for official vehicles. The Tesla Model Y should also ensure the unit's mobility in the event of problems with the supply of traditional fuel.

Three diesel official cars previously used by police officers were handed over to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Energy independence of the police will cut electricity consumption by 65%

The project also includes the installation of inverters and batteries. The equipment will ensure the department's operation during power outages. The pilot project is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.
